About Me...
Early Years Growing up as the eldest of nine children, in a family with deeply traumatic backgrounds, childhood emotional neglect was a constant presence. The absence of being seen, heard and understood impacted my life in countless ways. And, as an intuitive empath this only made this experience even more challenging.
The Past For two decades, I walked the debilitating path of depression, anxiety, addiction, psychosomatic illness and self-harm, all stemming from childhood trauma and deep-seated beliefs of unworthiness. I also found myself deeply entrenched in abusive relationships, a further product of these limiting beliefs. Added to this I was grieving the sudden loss of my sister, trying to raise my son, and working in an extremely stressful job, it's not surprising I eventually succumbed to burnout and a mental breakdown. It was a terrifying ordeal, but a necessary one. It served as a stark wake-up call, the shake I needed to change. Up to this point I had tried to hide my personal life, although not very well at times, I'd always felt I was able to function at some level, but now was different, it had gone on too long.
The Breakthrough So, I finally made the decision to change. The following five years of my life focused on intentional self-discovery, I remained single, decided to make healing a priority and was intuitively guided to spirituality, mindfulness, and energy healing. This led me on a completely new, exciting, insightful journey, a spiritual awakening, and many many mystical experiences later I just knew I couldn't "go back to business as usual". My life had completely changed and I'd found inner peace, strength, and a whole new perspective along the way.
The Present I believe when you change it not only affects your life but the lives of those around you- a beautiful ripple effect. I've experienced this in my life and it's truly amazing. When we reduce our stress, we show up better in all areas of our lives. We can genuinely enjoy life and relax. And, by changing ourselves we inspire change in others, one person at a time.
And, that's why I feel sharing my experiences and knowledge with other women who are facing similar challenges to what I have experienced, is so important and invaluable.

The Past
